Sean Koppelman, the founder of Charley's Cradle began his career in Healthcare Staffing in 1992 and successfully launched and grew Healthcare divisions for several respected Recruitment firms in NYC. His demand for quality and reputation for excellence resulted in his partnering with the most prestigious Healthcare entities in the country. Mr. Koppelman is now bringing this expertise and love of children to new parents throughout the NY metro area. His personal hands-on approach will result in you retaining the services of a Newborn Care Specialist that will make this challenging time less stressful and more enjoyable!

In October of 2008; Sean was blessed with the arrival of his first child – his son Max. In his attempt to retain the services of a Baby Nurse/Newborn Care Specialist; it became apparent that there were very few firms that could immediately introduce a qualified professional to help him and his wife care for his baby. Currently, the majority of new parents are relying on "word of mouth" referrals to be introduced to quality Care Givers.

Sean has returned to his roots in Healthcare Staffing and is excited to launch a service that will truly help people. Charley's Cradle will immediately connect new parents with qualified/screened professionals with years of experience caring for babies. All Newborn Care Specialists will be subjected to a stringent screening process that will include:

• 3 Professional References
• A thorough in-person interview
• Submission of valid identification/proof of citizenship
• A Criminal Background Check and Credit Check
• Proof of all certifications/training related to Newborn Care
• Proof of Physical/Immunizations within the past twelve months
• Completing a customized Skills Assessment designed by a Registered Nurse

All of the above documentation will be provided to parents to assist in determining who they would like to consider contracting with.

Once a selection has been made, Charley's Cradle staff will coordinate an interview and subsequent "Care Schedule" based on the unique needs of each Parent/Client.

Specialists can be dispatched in all 5 boroughs, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland and Northern New Jersey. Rates/fees for services will vary and be based on the scope/duration of the assignment; as well as the skill-set and experience of the Newborn Care Specialist. Newborn Care Specialists may be contracted on an hourly, daily or weekly basis. A 4 hour minimum is required for all hourly services.
